Der Sohn des Grenzaufsehers Weber, der sich etwas zu weit vorwagte, geriet unters Eis und ware er ein Opfer sei­ner Unvorsichtigkeit geworden, wenn ihm nicht Hilfe in der Person des Christian Schartz [=Spartz] zu Teil geworden wäre. So kam der Knabe mit dem bloßen Schrekken davon".44"

Married <1911, Catherine Bonert #15359, b. 10.12.1878 in Kehmen, (daughter of Jean Bonert #15339 and Madeleine Warken #15340) d. 26.03.1941 in Doncols, buried in Noertrange, resided <1905 in Kehmen, resided 1905 - 1939 in Schleif, resided 1939 - 1941 in Doncols, occupation fermière."
