After 1910 Frederick "Fritz" Clement of Harlingen, Luxemburg (a town close to Boulaide) opened a restaurant on Willow St. in Chicago after emmigrating to the U.S. Elise worked at that restauarant according to Jim Heckenbach (http://heckenbach.org/mill.html (10/2002))

"Further down the Sûre River to the east lies the village of Büderscheid. The town had a mill owned by the KREMERS family. Friedrich SCHLEICH came from Goesdorf, a village nearby, birthdate and birth unknown, died Oct 21, 1765 in Büderscheid. On Jan 9 1735, he married Catherina KREMERS, who was born Jun 25, 1717 in Büderscheid and died Mar 3, 1793 in Büderscheid. Friedrich was known to be living in the "miller's house" in 1737 so we think he moved in upon marrying the daughter of the family and became the miller."
