CHICAGO - Edwin F. "Zeke" Michels, 84, of Chicago, died Saturday, May 27, 2006. He was born Aug. 19, 1921, in Chicago, to Peter and Elise (Nelles) Michels. He had been a moldmaker in plastics manufacturing.
Survivors include his wife, Rose (Quattrocchi) Michels; two sons, Gerald Michels of McHenry and Terrell (Linda) Michels of Wonder Lake; and a niece, Janice Graf. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Jesse Michels.
The visitation will be from 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, until the 11 a.m. service at Matz Funeral Home, 3440 N. Central Ave., Chicago. Interment will be private.
