Above is a photo I took of the memorial which stands on a hill above the Pennsylvania field where Flight 93 crashed on September 11, 2001. It was later learned that passengers on the flight were alerted to plans to use the plane to attack the capital. They forced their way into the cockpit, eventually sacrificing their lives so that others would live.
